School Nurse Superpower Nominees

Jean is an incredible school nurse and coworker. She is the Nurse coordinator as well as the float nurse between the High School and Middle School in our district. She postponed her retirement by 3 years to continue working for the district and students she loves. She is retiring this year after three decades as a school nurse. Her guidance as the nurse coordinator was exceptional during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a plethora of knowledge and always makes herself available to the nurses. Additionally, she is always available for the parents and students during off hours, answering emails and making follow up phone calls in the evenings to ensure the students are doing well. I cannot say enough for this woman who emanates compassion and kindness to the students and staff. I truly believe she should win this award!
