School Nurse Superpower Nominees

As the Head Nurse of three buildings, Sarah’s "superpower" is her ability to anchor our largest campus of over 775 PreK-5 students while elevating district-wide clinical standards. In just the first half of this school year, she and her partner at TES have managed a staggering workload, including 3,785 health visits, 760 screenings, and 986 medication administrations. Beyond these high-volume clinics, Sarah ensures district-wide safety by spearheading professional development and overseeing critical medication delegation training for all staff. Whether she is navigating the needs of medically complex students or coordinating complex field trip logistics with parents, Sarah’s rare blend of administrative leadership and tireless hands-on care makes her the gold standard for Nurse of the Year.
