2026 School Nursing is my Superpower Nominee:
| Brandi Glasscock , Collinsville Public School, Oklahoma |
Brandi Glasscock has many nursing "Superpowers" but the one that I'm highlighting is her organizational skills and attention to detail. Brandi has been a school nurse for many years and is a Nationally Certified School Nurse. She has an active role as Communications Director for the School Nurse Organization of Oklahoma and has been instrumental in the success and growth of this organization, and instrumental in planning the annual conference for the last 3 years. She also serves as a liasion for Oklahoma to the National Board for Certification of School Nurses, encouraging all Oklahoma school nurses to continue to grow in their practice. Brandi is an important asset to Collinsville Public Schools, ensuring students' health needs are met and they are ready to learn. She is also a full time wife and mother and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Health at Oklahoma State University, still working an occasional ER shift. Brandi is the nurse that introduced me to SNAP and spent a day with me showing me how it works. She is always willing to share her knowledge with fellow school nurses. Brandi is an asset to the school nurses in Oklahoma and I am honored to nominate her!
