Deb has been the heart of nursing at Avalon Stone Harbor School for over 20 years. She brings a a wealth of knowledge and a true love for the work, combining the science, skill, and art of school nursing every day. One of her superpowers is working with administration to create thoughtful, effective policies that support best practices, along with an incredible sense of organization that keeps everything running smoothly. She has a special way of bringing together her knowledge, experience, and clinical skills to provide compassionate, high-quality care to all the children in her care. I have a unique perspective, as she oriented me many years ago and shared her love of school nursing and the unique specialty it truly is. She is a true advocate and a constant source of support, showing up each day with dedication and heart.
