2026 School Nursing is my Superpower Nominee:
| Brenda Sierzant RN, Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, GEORGIA |
Nurse Brenda Sierzant is a POWERHOUSE of energy! Since coming onboard in 2022 as a District Cluster Nurse, Nurse Sierzant has provided consistent, compassionate and evidence-based guidance to not only our team of school nurses, but to employees throughout our district. Nurse Sierzant has championed cardiac awareness and education and serves as the leader for our district cardiac awareness program. An innovative thinker, Nurse Sierzant drafted a district wide CPR drill program even before legislation made CPR drills mandatory. Nurse Sierzant also organized a district CPR team of nurses to ensure that every school (we have over 50) had an assigned trainer. To date, this team has provided CPR training to over 1500 employees! Not one to be limited, Nurse Sierzant readily extends her expertise to the community. She recently was the guest speaker for the American Heart Go Red for Women’s luncheon and has been asked to work with a local television station to elevate awareness even further. Respected for her commitment to excellence and appreciated for her hard work and dedication to our team, Nurse Sierzant is nominated for being a POWERHOUSE of impact!
