2026 School Nursing is my Superpower Nominee:

Our school nurse has superpowers because she builds incredible relationships with her students. Two examples: She has cared for a type 1 diabetic since he was in preschool and is now in 3rd grade. She cares for him so well, his parents asked her to be his godmother when he was baptized. Example 2: a student who often struggles with loneliness mentioned his interest in crocheting and she bought him an entire starter pack of yarn and hooks and speaks to him regularly about his progress.
