School Nurse Superpower Nominees

Megan has been an outstanding addition to our Colonial Nursing Team. As a newer CSN, with strong acute care skills and knowledge, Megan has brought a fresh perspective to our district. She has implemented strategies in her 3 elementary buildings to hold teachers accountable and reduce non-sense nurse visits. She is a tremendous resource to our department when it comes to problem solving and the development of procedures/guidelines. Megan facilitated a mutually beneficial agreement between the district and the local Career and Technical High School that allows for high school students in the health occupations program to gain experience while assisting our elementary school nurses with annual health screenings. Megan is always volunteering to help and has a positive attitude that easily spreads to those around her. She has been a great addition to our team and we are all lucky to work along side of her.
