Our school nurse, KC Lanigan, is truly the heart of our building. She brings a rare blend of compassion, attentiveness, and unwavering dedication to every student she serves. Whether she’s addressing a medical need, ensuring student safety, or simply offering a moment of comfort, she does it all with genuine care and thoughtfulness. She has an incredible ability to connect with children, making each one feel seen, safe, and valued. Beyond the clinical side of her role, she goes above and beyond—offering snacks, freezie pops, fun ice packs, spare change of clothes, fidgets, and even a chance to sit and color when a child just needs a break. Constantly on the move and working independently in a busy office, she somehow balances it all, never missing an opportunity to bring warmth, joy, and reassurance to our students and families.
