2026 School Nursing is my Superpower Nominee:
| Brandy Bowlen, ESC4, Texas |
Brandy has been such an inspiration to me. We met at a TSNO event, and her warmth and friendliness was evident. She welcomed me to her table and help me feel at ease, as it was my first school nurse conference. She encouraged me during the process of getting my school nurse certifcation. She serves TSNO Region IV and the TSNO. She is an educator who is able to engage the learner and give us nuggets to succeed. Not only does she help us protect our licenses and practice, she helps us serve our students. She was there for me recently when I had a medical and ethical dilemma with a student need, and she guided me with wisdom and the Nurse Practice Act. I feel she goes above and beyond in the field. Even though she does not serve in a local school at present but at a district level, I know the school nurses of Region IV and Texas are so much better because of her presence and passion for school nursing.
