The speakers are:

Dr. Sophia Hall, DNP, MEd, RN, NCSN, FNASN is passionate about school nursing. Dr. Hall has been advocating for school nurses in schools for many years. When the pandemic hit, she was strategically situated as President of the Vermont State School Nurses Association and advocated for School Nurses to be at the decision-making table in schools. She is the Director from Vermont to the National Association of School Nurses (NASN).

Dr. Hall has been widely recognized with numerous awards in school nursing. Most recently she was inducted as Fellow of National Academy of School Nurses in 2026, the most prestigious recognition that NASN members can receive.

Dr. Hall earned the highest Doctor of Nursing Practice credentials from Chamberlain University School of Nursing in 2021. She holds a Master of Education with a Community Health Focus from Plymouth University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont.

Allison Conyers, MSN, RN, NCSN
Allison Conyers is a Nationally Certified School nurse working at Brookside Primary School in Waterbury, VT. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from James Madison University and a Masters in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education from Norwich University. She has been a nurse for 23 years and worked in oncology and home health before finding her dream job in school nursing. Allison loves laughing with her coworkers and students, developing relationships with those around her using humor in connection.
